Uncharted is a fantastic series of games featuring well learned treasure hunter and thief Nathan Drake. Each game of the series focuses on Nathan picking up where others left off, to find treasures long lost… or hidden… hidden away for very good reasons…
There is a game for the failed Playstation Vita and a spin off game for the Playstation 4 and 5 featuring Chloe Frazer titled Uncharted: The Lost Legacy but for now we fill focus on the core games of the series featuring Drake…
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
Nathan Drake along with his partner and mentor Victor Sullivan and journalist Elena Fisher track down the location of the coffin of Sir Francis Drake. The coffin contains the journal of the explorer himself which contains all the notes and clues one would need to help them track down the long sought after El Dorado. The trail gets mysterious and complicated when they find the remnants of a Nazi expedition and that there are other interested parties alive and armed to the teeth after El Dorado as well.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Drake gets recruited by old friends to help break into a museum in Turkey to steal an artifact that was found by Marco Polo one of his expeditions. Rather than stealing it for some rich client to keep it on their mantle the artifact actually holds a clue to finding a much larger treasure. When a ex-serbian military commander named Zoran Lazarević and his private army get involved the treasure hunt becomes a race to the legendary Shangri-La.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
When Nathan Drake was a kid he obtained the ring of Sir Francis Drake from a museum in Colombia before it could be stolen by Victor Sullivan who at the time was employed by a woman named Marlowe. Marlowe was interested in obtaining the ring for herself because it is the key to finding a treasure, a treasure shrouded in mystery, and one that Sir Francis took every measure possible to keep its location a secret, even from the Queen of England herself. Was Sir Francis just trying to keep some wealth to himself… or was there another reason he went through such efforts to keep it lost?
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Nathan Drake is in retirement from his treasure hunting life and is living a 9 to 5 job yearning for one last adventure. This adventure comes knocking at the door when Nathan’s brother Sam arrives. Nathan had believed Sam to have been dead for years but it turns out that he is alive and just fine… but he needs Nathan’s help. A ruthless criminal Sam shared a prison cell with heard Sam speak of a treasure he and his brother Nathan had been hunting for since childhood, the treasure of pirate captain Henry Avery. After escaping prison together the criminal threatens to kill Sam unless he finds the treasure and gives it to him. To help buy Sam’s life Nathan comes out of retirement and they pick up the hunt where they last left off.
